Welcome To My Business Travel Tips Blog!
Through this blog I hope to give you some good business travel tips, but more importantly to give you some advice on what not to do while on business travel. Depending on where you are at career wise and mentally, business travel can be fun and rewarding or mentally exhausting. Most of the times it is both in the same trip.
I travel mostling in the mid-atlantic, midwest, south, and sometimes the west. I normally travel at least twice a month at a minimum and have gotten the routine down pretty well. I normally search for ways to travel better and am always looking for some great business travel tips.
I hope to pass along the better ones in this blog to you so I hope you become a long time reader.
I find that the biggest problem with business travel or any travel is the stress. I can frustrating as hell dealing with the airlines.
The most stressful and most frustrating part for me is when you have to make a connection. I seems like whenever the first flight does arrive on time, invariably we can’t pull up to the gate right away and we are stuck 20 feet away from the gate for 20 minutes waiting and waiting.
That is one thing I don’t understand, they know the flight is due to arrive at least one hour ahead of time but still, there is no gate crew to dock the plane!
Another thing that frustrates me is vacation travelers. These people rarely travel, and seem to not have ever been on a plane before. When you just want to get off the plane and to your next gate these people always seem to be moping in front of you slowing you down.
