Executive Book Summaries Review
You’ve probably seen their advertisements month after month in Skymall magazine and are probably very curious like I was. I guess repetitive advertising works, because it worked on me. If you don’t know what Executive Book Summaries is here is my review:
Their advertisement says you can blitz through the year’s best business books in 20 minutes or less. It sounds great doesn’t it? I signed up for it and really enjoyed my subscription.
The summaries you get come every month, and are on time. You get about 2 or 3 a month and for the most part they are great. I think they have been in business for over 30 years, so there they are very good at getting the strong points.
The best thing about the service is that it made me aware of many business books that would not have caught my attention at the bookstore. They don’t always pick the most popular books to review; just the ones that they think will have the biggest impact on you.
The worst part is that after reading the summaries you often want to read the whole book anyways, which is not necessarily a bad thing is it.
You can get just an online version, but I went for the print version. It makes for great reading at airports and on the plane.
Overall, if you have the cash I say get it. It will greatly improve your knowledge with minimal reading and effort on your part.
